  1. The man-triggered light of nuclear weapons is indeed the antithesis of transfiguration light. It’s pride elevated to transmorgrification, to the grotesque. The glorification of technology, the modern Babel. The disciples saw and glowed. If we gaze on the nuclear accoplishment, we’ll burn first from the eyes.
    I just took a short while to listen to Martin Luther King, Jr., as he gave his sermon shortly before he died (The Drum Major Instinct), in which he warned, again, of the evils of the nuclear age. Your thoughts and that sermon helped make my Sunday a worthwhile day.
